Your Medical Plan Options

Administered by Aetna, Catalina offers three medical plans with a range of coverage levels and costs to provide you the flexibility to choose what is best for you and your family’s needs and budget.

  1. *Higher Deductible HSA - a high deductible health plan (HDHP) offering lower paycheck contributions, higher deductibles, and a tax-free Health Savings Account (HSA).

*To help pay your deductible and other out-of-pocket expenses, the HDHPs allow you to open a Health Savings Account (HSA) and make pre-tax contributions directly from your paycheck. Catalina will also make contributions to your HSA.

  2. *Lower Deductible HSA - a high deductible health plan (HDHP) offering a lower deductible and a tax-free a Health Savings Account (HSA), but comes with a higher per pay check contribution.

  3. Traditional PPO - offering copays for the most commonly used healthcare services such as Primary Care Physician visits and generic prescriptions.
